Laundromat FAQ:

  • Wilmerding Location: There are a few spots along curb near the entrance of the laundromat, and plenty of parking in the small lot across the street. Entrance to the Wilmerdring location is in the rear of the building, where the parking is located.
  • Turtle Creek location- There is on-street parking availble at this location.

Wash & Fold (Drop Off and Pick Up & Delivery) FAQ:

All you need to do is bring in your order and an attendant will help you figure out the rest, from washing preferences to pick up time!  No appointment is necessary, you are welcome to come in with a drop off order any time bewteeen 8AM & 6PM at either location!  Same day pick ups must be dropped off by 12PM. Cash and credit cards are welcomed as forms of payment.

  1. Create your account online and schedule a pick up & delivery. (You're welcome to schedule a delivery as early as the next day (M-SAT), but please schedule for the same time frame as your pick up if you select next day delivery!) We operate within 2 windows and you will receive text alerts when you are next on our route on both pick up and delivery days, but we are unable to accommadate specific time requests within those windows.
  2. Gather up allllll your dirty laundry & either hand it to our driver when they arrive OR leave it outside your door for a contactless pick up. Watch your phone for text alerts to know when our driver is on the way & for confirmation of receipt or delivery on both pick up & delivery days.
  3. ENJOY YOUR FREE TIME! Read a book, watch a movie, take a nap...you deserve it!
  4. Receive fresh, clean laundry back as early as the next day, and watch your email for a copy of your invoice.
  5. Repeat as often as needed.

Yes, we do have a $35 minimum, which is equivalent to one full 30 gallon garbage bag of laundry.  Laundry can be mixed to reach the minimum, and will be sorted by our attendants for proper wash loads. 

Wash & Fold pricing includes your choice of laundry detergent, dryer sheets, and/or liquid fabric softener.  If you prefer us to use your own products, simply include them in with your laundry order!  Wash & Fold pricing includes any and all regular launderable clothing items, sheet sets, and towel sets.  All other items are priced per piece, and are availble to see on your Dashboard while creating  a new order under the Pricing tab.

We do our absolute best to treat any stain we notice.  If you have an item that you want us to pay special attention to, please give us a call or include a note in your order!

When you place an order, you'll have places to make notes for both laundry preferences/instructions, and notes for our driver.  Any special information can be left in those places for us to see.

Unfortunately, no.  Due to the number of customers we have, our routes changing daily based on our customer sign up, and the distances we travel, we are unable to acccommodate specific time requests within our operating windows.  For those with more restrictive schedules who are unable to leave their laundry outside for us, we suggest taking advantage of a Saturday pick up, or thinking outside of the box to see if you can find an arrangement that works for you (for example, we have a few customers who take the laundry with them to work, and we do pick ups from their cars!).

We prefer garbage bags or reusable laundry bags.  Either way, we'll return your items in clean plastic bags!

For dry cleaning orders, just bag your dry cleaning separately and mark it as dry cleaning, and we'll take care of the rest! Please allow 48 hours for dry cleaning items (and laundry, if your order is for both) to be returned.

Dry cleaning items are priced by the piece, and prices are available to see on your Dashboard while creating a new order under the View Pricing tab.

This simply means that you'd be placed on a permanent weekly or bi-weekly schedule for pick up & delivery, without you having to remember to schedule yourself. (Pro-tip- being a recurring customer also scores you a small discount on every order!) There is no long-term commitment, and if you decide that scheduling as needed works better for you, you can go back to that any any time!

Cancellation for pick ups can be made penalty free at any time up until the arrival of our driver at your location- at that time, a missed pick up fee of $20 will be applied if cancellation occurs.

We hang clothes by request only.  The first 10 items will be complimetary, and there will be a nominal charge for additional items.

We accommodate air dry requests to the best of our abilities.  We recommend allowing an additional 24 hours when scheduling your delivery if you have items that need to be air dried so that we can assure your items have adequate time to fully dry for delivery.

Allegheny Laundry will be closed on major holidays only, and we'll contact you to reschedule if needed!
